Another day older and...
Actually, I guess not deeper in debt. That last mortgage payment reduced by debt by at least $200. It was wonderful to get together with Mom and Dad last night for a birthday dinner. For all its faults, having a travelling job and a project near NY has its benefits. I think the last few years have involved room-service or take-out birthday dinners eaten alone in my hotel. It was nice to buck the trend, and have someone other than the Assistant Manager wish me a happy birthday. Perhaps next year we can try to get even more together, for someone else's birthday in June ;-) I hope I am as healthy and engaged in life as my parents when I am 60.
